Rolling Stones Get the Ball Rolling: Please Allow Me to Introduce Myself

I may not be a “man of wealth and taste” like Mick Jagger belted out in one of his songs with the Rolling Stones, but I have been around for a long, long time.

So, when the bigwigs here at Go Port asked me to help out with their new blog, this particular lyric automatically popped into my head, and Voilà!! I got all motivated to expose the down low on places to go and things to do in Port Canaveral and surrounding areas.

That being said …

Please allow me to introduce myself.

My name is Diana Fasanella. I’m a native of Merritt Island, which is geographically situated next to the Port. I’m also someone who just happened for several decades to live and work in “Joisey” for Gannett/USA Today as a journalist, editor, columnist, and, la-tee-da, blogger.  So, when life circumstances and country roads brought me back home to the Sunshine State, I was ecstatic to discover that the Port was bustling with activity.

Then I got the call from Go Port, and here I am. I figure writing this blog surely can’t be work since this company is about vacations, fun, and cruising, after all. All I have to do now is blog.

Let’s have at it!

Yes, I’m very pleased to meet you…

And you don’t have to guess my name.
