The ship will be replacing the similar-sized Oasis of the Seas, which is moving to Miami in 2019. Royal Caribbean anticipates Harmony&#8217;s new Central Florida location to target cruisers throughout Florida, Georgia and the Southeast region.<\/p>\n<p>Harmony\u00a0offers seven-night cruises to the Eastern and Western Caribbean. The megaship\u00a0has a double-occupancy capacity of 5,479 and a maximum capacity of 6,687. It also\u00a0features the tallest slide at sea and a children\u2019s water park. Bookings for\u00a02019- 2020 Harmony cruises from Port Canaveral will be available beginning on Nov. 13, 2017.<\/p>\n<p>\u201cThis is great news for Port Canaveral. We are excited to be part of Royal Caribbean\u2019s new deployment plans and proud of their confidence in us to support their brand,\u201d said Port CEO Captain\u00a0John Murray.<\/p>\n<p>Additionally, Royal Caribbean&#8217;s Mariner of the Seas- a recently renovated 4,200 passenger ship- will also be relocating to Port Canaveral for the 2019- 2020 cruise season.<\/p>\n<p>The Port anticipates the new major ship additions to contribute to its economic engine of $6 million a day.
