Is Go Port a subsidiary of the hotel?

No. Go Port is an independently-owned destination management company. We partner with hotels and transportation companies in the Port Canaveral, Cocoa Beach, Cocoa, Merritt Island, Orlando, Melbourne, and Sanford areas to provide accommodations and transportation to meet the unique needs of cruise travelers at an affordable cost.

This arrangement allows our partners to focus on doing what they do best - providing hospitality, accommodations and transportation - while we take care of the other details surrounding your cruise vacation.

What is Go Port's Shared Shuttle service?

Our Shared Shuttle service is Go Port's most popular and affordable transportation option. When booking this service, you'll share a ride with other fellow cruisers to lessen the cost of the journey. Additional pick-ups or drop-offs may be made along the way as we efficiently transport guests to their destinations.

Are there any additional costs associated with Go Port packages?

When cruisers purchase a Go Port package, they can be confident that there won't be any surprise additional charges. The final purchase price at check-out not only includes hotel accommodations and transportation to and from your destination, but also taxes, tolls, and port fees. Some hotel packages even include breakfast. Gratuities are appreciated by the shuttle drivers but are at the sole discretion of the client.

What is the shuttle pick-up time at Port Canaveral when cruise ships return?

Orlando Airport: Go Port's shared shuttles board and depart the Port on a regular basis from 7:30 AM - 10:00 AM. These shuttles fill up on a first-come, first-served basis and will not depart the port until they are filled. ** Cruisers with a flight departure before 1 PM are required to self-debark and hop on an early shuttle to ensure they arrive at the airport with ample time to make their flight.

Titusville: Our Titusville shuttle departs Port Canaveral promptly at 10:00 AM. This is the only shuttle departure time back to Titusville. All cruisers must perform a “Self-Assist Debarkation” or “Express Debarkation” to ensure they do not miss their scheduled shuttle time. After clearing customs, proceed to Pre-Arranged Transportation located outside your Cruise Terminal. Follow the Go Port signs directing you to our purple podium and be sure to check in with our Greeter at least 15 minutes prior to your 10:00 AM departure.

Sanford: Our Sanford Airport Shuttle departs Port Canaveral promptly at 9:00 AM. This is the only shuttle departure time back to Sanford. ** Cruisers heading to Sanford are required to self-debark to ensure they do not miss their scheduled shuttle time. After clearing customs, proceed to Pre-Arranged Transportation located outside your Cruise Terminal. Follow the Go Port signs directing you to our purple podium and be sure to check in with our Greeter at least 15 minutes prior to your 9:00 AM departure.

What is the Orlando Airport pick-up procedure for cruisers staying at a Port Canaveral area hotel?

If your prearranged pick-up time is at 9 AM, 11 AM or 1 PM, check in at our counter located inside of Terminal A, level 1, next to the car rental counters.
If your prearranged pick-up time is at 3 PM or 5 PM call (321) 735-8833 to confirm your arrival after claiming your baggage.

What is the Orlando Airport pick-up procedure for cruisers staying at an Orlando area hotel?

Cruisers staying at an Orlando area hotel should notify the hotel of their arrival after claiming their baggage. Proper contact information is provided in your Welcome Package E-mail. It normally takes about 5-15 minutes for a hotel shuttle to arrive at the airport.

What is the Orlando Airport pick-up procedure for cruisers utilizing day-of-cruise direct transportation to Port Canaveral?

Cruisers utilizing day-of-cruise transportation at the Orlando MCO Airport should check in at our counter located inside of Terminal A at Level 1 Ground Transportation near the car rental counters. Go Port greeters will seat you on the next available shuttle to Port Canaveral. Shuttles run on a regular basis from 10 AM to 1 PM.

What is the shuttle pick-up time at hotels for transportation to Port Canaveral cruise ship terminals?

Go Port Transportation offers a variety of scheduled hotel pick-up times. All pick-up times are clearly outlined for each hotel during the checkout process.

Do I need to include an infant/ child when counting the number of people in my party for a hotel package?

Yes. Every person regardless of age should be accounted for in your party.

Do I need to purchase a seat on the Go Port shuttle for an infant?

Infants under two (2) years of age, not occupying a seat, may be carried free of charge when traveling with an adult (18 years of age or older).

Do you need a credit card to check into your hotel?

Typically hotels require a credit card at check-in to cover incidentals or any additional expenses you may incur. This is an industry standard and the temporary hold on your credit card should be removed from your account once you check out.

What is self-debarkation?

Self-debarkation, also called self-assist, express-departure/debarkation, or walk-off, requires that you carry your own luggage off of the ship and through customs yourself. This process is quicker than standard debarkation and essential if you’re trying to catch an early flight or shuttle. The night before your departure, be sure to pay all onboard bills at guest services, complete all U.S. Customs Forms, and keep your luggage in your room so you can leave with your own bags in the morning. We encourage you to talk to your cruise line’s guest services for more information about this process.

How long is the drive from my hotel to the cruise parking lot?

All drive times are estimated and may fluctuate depending on traffic.

Orlando Area Hotel: 1 Hour
Titusville Area Hotel: 30 Minutes
Cocoa Beach Area Hotel: 5 Minutes
Merritt Island Area Hotel: 20 Minutes

Why do I need to wait on the shuttle until all luggage is unloaded?

Per safety regulations, you may need to remain on the shuttle while luggage is unloaded/loaded.

Will I get a refund if my cruise is cancelled due to Hurricane Dorian?

We will be issuing full refunds to guests with cancelled sailings or flights due to Hurricane Dorian. If your cruise is cancelled, we will automatically process a refund. We recommend contacting your cruise line or airline directly to obtain the most up-to-date information regarding cancellations.

Are there bathroom facilities available on Go Port shuttles?

Bathroom facilities are not available on our shuttles. Guests should consider using the restroom prior to boarding. There are restrooms located at the airport and all cruise terminals.

What is Go Port's cancellation policy?

CANCELLATION POLICY:


100% Refundable Packages: Packages can be cancelled for a 100% refund up to (3) days after the date of purchase provided the date of purchase is more than (3) days prior to the first date of arrival.

70% Refundable Packages: Packages can be cancelled for a 70% refund after (3) days from the date of purchase provided the cancellation date is more than (3) days prior to the first date of arrival.

Non-Refundable Packages: Packages cancelled less than (3) days prior to the first date of arrival are non-refundable.

Change Fees: Changes are complimentary up to (3) days after the date of purchase. Changes that increase the package price are exempt from change fees. Changes made after (3) days from the date of purchase will incur a $50 change fee each time a modification is made to the package. Changes must be made at least (3) days prior to the first date of arrival.

We only accept changes/ cancellations via phone at (855) 755-4637 from 8 AM - 10 PM EST seven days a week. Refunds can take 7-10 days to process.
