Important Info.

We are closely monitoring Hurricane Dorian and how it will affect your travel plans. We will continue to share the latest updates from the cruise lines, port authority, and news outlets on this page.

Go Port's Call Center will re-open today, Wednesday 9/4 at 3 PM.

 

We will be issuing full refunds to guests with cancelled sailings or flights due to Hurricane Dorian. If your cruise is cancelled, we will automatically process a refund. We recommend contacting your cruise line or airline directly to obtain the most up-to-date information regarding cancellations.

Port Canaveral Updates:

Port Canaveral will be closed on Saturday 8/31 after all cruise ships depart. They are planning to re-open on Wednesday 9/4 weather permitting. 

 

Royal Caribbean Itinerary Updates:

8/30 (Friday) Mariner Sailing – This sailing is being extended and will return on Thursday, 9/5. Itineraries now include Cozumel on 9/1 and Costa Maya on 09/2. There will be two more sea days on 09/03 and 9/4 before returning to Port Canaveral on 9/5. Go Port has updated their transportation schedule to reflect this change and will have shuttles available on 9/5. 

9/2 (Monday) Mariner Sailing – This sailing has been cancelled. Go Port will be offering a full refund for packages purchased for this sailing.

8/25 (Sunday) Harmony Sailing – This sailing has been extended and will now return on Thursday, 9/5. There will be an additional visit to Cozumel on 8/31 and the ship will stay there until 9/1. Then, there will be three sea days before returning to Port Canaveral on 9/5. Go Port has updated their transportation schedule to reflect this change and will have shuttles available on 9/5.

9/1 (Sunday) Harmony Sailing – This sailing has been shortened and will now depart on Thursday, 9/5. This ship will be cruising to Nassau and arrive there on 9/6. The return will be as scheduled on 9/8. Go Port has updated their transportation schedule to reflect this change and will have shuttles available on 9/5. If you have a hotel reservation through Go Port, changes to check-in dates are being made on a case by case basis as many hotels are sold out. If you are no longer sailing due to this itinerary change, Go Port will be offering a full refund.

Disney Cruise Line Itinerary Updates:

8/30 (Friday) Disney Dream Sailing— This cruise will now return to Port Canaveral on Thursday 9/5. Go Port has updated their transportation schedule to reflect this change and will have shuttles available on 9/5.

9/2 (Monday) Disney Dream Sailing— This sailing has been cancelled. Go Port will be offering a full refund for packages purchased for this sailing.

Carnival Cruise Line Itinerary Updates:

8/30 (Friday) Carnival Liberty Sailing – This cruise is now expected to return on Thursday, 9/5. In addition to Nassau, Carnival has added visits to Cozumel and Costa Maya. Go Port has updated their transportation schedule to reflect this change and will have shuttles available on 9/5. If you are no longer sailing due to this itinerary change, Go Port will be offering a full refund.

9/2 (Monday) Carnival Liberty Sailing – This cruise is cancelled. Guests will receive a full refund of their cruise fare and any pre-purchased items. Go Port will be offering a full refund for packages purchased for this sailing as well.

9/2 (Monday) Carnival Elation Sailing – This cruise is cancelled. Guests will receive a full refund of their cruise fare and any pre-purchased items. Go Port will be offering a full refund for packages purchased for this sailing as well.

Norwegian Cruise Line Itinerary Updates:

8/29 (Thursday) Norwegian Sun Sailing – Norwegian Sun departed from Port Canaveral on Thursday, August 29 as scheduled. The calls to Nassau, Great Stirrup Cay and Freeport, Bahamas have been cancelled. The ship spent a day at sea on Friday, August 30, overnighted in Cozumel, Mexico on August 31, and departed on September 1 at 6 p.m. Norwegian Sun’s scheduled return to Port Canaveral on September 2 was cancelled. Due to the uncertainty of when the port will reopen, the cruise concluded in New Orleans, Louisiana on September 3.

9/2 (Monday) Norwegian Sun Sailing – This cruise has been cancelled. All guests will receive a full refund. Go Port will be offering a full refund for packages purchased for this sailing as well.

9/7 (Saturday) Norwegian Sun Sailing – Norwegian Sun is scheduled to depart Port Canaveral on September 7, pending the reopening of the port. She is scheduled to sail a five-day Bahamas cruise calling to Freeport, Nassau and Great Stirrup Cay, Bahamas. Norwegian is still evaluating the impact of the storm to her planned calls and will communicate any itinerary modifications accordingly.
