Central Florida will soon welcome a floating tribute to Italy, when one of Carnival Cruise Line’s latest additions, the Carnival Venezia, starts sailing from Port Canaveral in 2024. Her journey from Venice to New York City, to one of Carnival’s most popular homeports, was a strategic choice – allowing “snowbirds” to experience “Carnival Fun Italian Style” cruising before returning back up north the following Spring.

The 5,000-passenger Carnival Venezia is set to embark on a variety of itineraries from Port Canaveral.
