Royal Caribbean’s latest ship, Utopia of the Seas, is set to make her grand arrival at Port Canaveral in the summer of 2024. This 5,668-passenger marvel stands out from her Oasis class sister ships – with distinct new features and short sailings anticipated to wow guests, all while running on environmentally-conscious liquefied natural gas.

“Homeporting this first LNG-powered Oasis-class ship at Port Canaveral to sail these very popular shorter itineraries exemplifies the trust and commitment our valued cruise partners have in our Port and this community to deliver a high-quality guest experience. We are tremendously proud,” stated Captain John Murray, CEO of Port Canaveral. “Royal Caribbean’s Utopia of the Seas is one of the most anticipated new cruise vessels in the industry. We are thrilled to have her join us and looking forward to her arrival next year.”

Action-packed for 3 and 4-day getaways, there is no shortage of activities aboard Utopia of the Seas! Guests can expect 5 pools, 3 water slides, 8 hot tubs, 21 dining venues,  2 casinos, and 23 bars. Signature favorites can also be found aboard, including a revamped Izumi restaurant with twice the amount of teppanyaki tables, outdoor seating, and a neighboring walk-up sushi and Japanese-inspired treat window. Passengers will also find an expanded, two-level version of Giovanni’s Italian Kitchen & Wine Bar, and a new extension of the eatery, called Gio’s Terrazza, just above the Boardwalk.

This 18-deck delight will sail from Port Canaveral to Nassau and Royal Caribbean’s private Bahamian island, Perfect Day at CocoCay. This also includes access to the newly unveiled adults-only Hideaway Beach, set to open early 2024. Guests can choose from 3-night weekend sailings or 4-night itineraries for a weekday escape.
